What are we celebrating today? Elvis Presley’s Birthday! David Bowie’s Birthday! Yvette Milieux’s Birthday! Gypsy Rose Lee’s Birthday! Should be an international holiday! The Count always finds a reason to celebrate but today is special!

I like to celebrate by just ordering food.

Some days that’s all you can hope for. When I was working, every Friday I treated myself to a breakfast sandwich and hasbrowns for making it through another dreadful work week

I had a Triumph Tiger 500cc with a spring hub back in ’66. I celebrate those memories often.

Seems like something worth celebrating.

I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Do I drink before noon? No, but about 2 pm I “round off” to the nearest day and start my celebratory gin and tonic.

For some unknown reason I don’t gravitate toward alcohol. Ice cream, however. . . .

I usually celebrate getting out of bed in the morning without injuring myself

After a certain age, getting out of bed each morning is a reason to celebrate, not necessarily with a drink.

This is a nice counterpoint to the 4/20/2020 one.

Having a good glass of wine is itself a reason to celebrate.

My after glass of Scotch. A doctor recommended it around 40 years ago. I have never sought a second opinion.
