“He may be a member of the weasel family, but Ernie would never rat me out! Hey.. are those sirens? I can’t hear anything with this blasted thing covering my ears”!
Strange picture. Following from her hair part line downward, she would appear to have her hair tied under her chin…and she holds a grotesquely muscled weasel…
Her ski-sloped shoulders forced the girl to hold her weasel at her breast lest it slide off and suffer a grievous injury. (However, her breast did not afford the weasel much purchase either)

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #3249 (January 9, 2024) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu (even larger, if you trim what’s after .png from the URL). I have added a comment there pointing to the blog entry with my comment pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, 2 works by him have been used here (the January 24, 2012, strip painting was initially attributed to him; but, that has changed, as I have documented in my comment reply there today), the August 3, 2022, strip being the prior.
The beaded whatever across her brow looks almost like those things people put permanantly under their skin. You can see her browline starting so…weird painting.
I admired this masterwork when I first met it in 7th grade (Renaissance Italy). A beautiful lady in beautiful clothes—but I never thought till now that unless her left arm’s under there somewhere, perhaps she doesn’t have one? You know, she might have had a birth defect, or an amputation due to an infected bite from, oh, some imperfectly domesticated animal?

That’s a weasel, (which truly are vermin).
But the beast’s oversized

If ermine are white in the winter, why is she so lightly dressed? And, why does she have her hair tied under her chin?
