    /// Paolo, (Francesca’s brother-in-law),

kissed his brother’s wife right on her jaw.

    They’d been reading a book,

    and this chance Paolo took

brought them grief because her husband saw.

Enter stage right: the husband of the young woman, who is also the BROTHER of the young man. This will not be a happy ending.

Guy walks into a bar, orders a beer, bartender asks him how things are going? Guy replies “Oh man, I need to have sex in the worst way!” Bartender sounds sympathetic when he says “Well, the worst way I know of is standing up in a hammock!”

Unfortunately, the book she’s reading is the Kama Sutra, and he’d shortly be in need of the services of a chiropractor.

Stretching before strenuous exercise is important, folks!

    Francesca da Rimini

    Paste (including the quote marks)

    "Category:Paintings by William Dyce" Wikimedia

(syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and Yandex search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found and once there find the text string Google, and click its link for info and links that point to more info about this large painting, along with a Description (hand mentioned there, sadly has been mostly cropped from the strip image).

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #3251 (January 12, 2024) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu. I have added a comment there pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, 2 works by him have been used here, the May 6, 2013, strip being the prior. GoComics has deactivated the hyperlinks and removed the new lines in my comment there; but, perhaps the text remains informative.

In every one of us dwells/

    The mysterious force that compels/

    The kind of behavior/

    That calls for a “Savior”/

to save us from seven “h€££z”///

    But Nature, it seems, disagrees/

    With fantastic theologies:/

    We’re a physical beast/

    In spite of the priest/

(If you doubt that, ignore paying fees)..

    The desire to procreate /

In all species is clearly innate/

    You’re intended to mate/

So be wise, and don’t wait

Get busy- before it’s too late.///

    You can’t have a next generation/

    Without some cooperation/

    To achieve procreation/

    You need penetration:/

    It’s a difficult situation..
