Nothing wrong with going to the bathroom in the back yard. We have plenty of trees.

Aw jeez. I mean, yesterday I took the blue bin and grey garbage to the back lane of the GFs place. And walking gingerly along the walkway, avoiding the many many poops of her tiny toy dog. Some sunken into the ice, some soft in the 0’C water and others just sitting sh-pretty (the pr is silent) along the path. And doing it in reverse today. I like dogs except for the yard as a toilet bit.

I’ve been a cat owner most of my life and I don’t mind dealing with the litter as much. Doesn’t matter they’re useless as a burglar alarm.

What’s the problem with peeing in the backyard, other than the neighbors?

Do other Cultures use the quaint equivalent of that euphemism in their languages?

For a self-respecting male alpha dog like Roscoe this is a convenient way to mark his territory…

growing up i did every summer all summer long…my folks had a little place by the beach in RI and they left me there all summer, and came from the city on weekends…my buddy lived next door, his mom was there, and we slept in his tent every summer for like 10 years and we had an outhouse to use…good times…closest phone was pay phone at the store a mile away

He’s got NOTHING to complain about.

Opal has her bunny slippers on. I think there was a story arc about those. But I’m old and forgetful…and too lazy this early to look it up.

During my early hunting days, pop told me the correct spot was next to a bear pile.

How come Roscoe is the only “character” in this strip that has eyes?.. and very expressive ones?

Reminds me of a comedian who said "your dog holds it in all day then you take him/her for a walk and after they do their business you pick it up and bring it back inside, so what do you suppose your dog thinks about that?

Dogs have feelings and get bored, too.

Never thought doing their business outside unlike us being inside made dogs sad.

I didn’t know they had an outdoor bathtub or shower
