Funny story about ‘The Art Of The Deal.’ Trump pretty much gave the store away; the ghost writer got full credit and half the profits. That guy could have stayed in Trump’s orbit and milked the golden calf, instead he ran as fast as he could and spnet the next decades telling everyone what a jerk Donnie was.
The plot or setting or subject of a story are not necessarily what makes a story boring. Philip K. Dick makes typewriter repair absolutely fascinating in one of his non-SF novels, “In Milton Lumky Territory”. Dick made typewriters vitally important to the characters and not only that described typewriter mechanisms in interesting details.
