7 years ago, I had a heart-related incident which among other interventions required a blood thinner. This last December, I had a repeat (didn’t want it), was prescribed the very same blood thinner and was told that a month’s supply was going to cost over $700. Even after I applied my Rx coverage, it came to over $100. At my age, 7 years doesn’t seem so long ago, but I don’t remember the very same thing costing nearly that much!
To paraphrase Scripture, “Greed, greed, everything is greed.”

What I love about those ads is that they usually don’t tell you what the medicine is for. That way, hypochondriacs can assume they need it.

The problem with this is, I don’t know if it’s a joke. That sounds like something a pharmaceutical company rep would actually say.

If we cannot afford healthcare in the USA, why do the politicians have full healthcare?

Do they really think their medication is worth a kidney, and that would have to be a one time deal.
