I’m guessing that she already gave the dog a head of lettuce and the dog refused to eat it.

Of all the different food my dog gets, a young vole from the golf course was her favorite. She is quick. Sniff, bite, shake. By the time I got to her I saw the last bit of the vole’s tail as my dog wolfed it down. The vet told me, “Well, that’s what she’d eat in the wild.”

Well, the low-carb, gluten-free, non-dairy part is good for the dog. The vegan part, not so much.

Dogs whose diets are changed in mid life react the same as most humans . . . yeck.

They are supposed to be a treat. Those biscuits would be yucky to a carnivore.

    We have low-carb gluten-free non-dairy vegan biscuits.

But they’re not dog biscuits – it’s not dog food – it’s food food.

No need to buy them gust give the dog access to the cat’s litter box.

A pet peeve of mine (hey, I made a joke, ‘pet’ peeve! LOL!) anyway, is that all those dog food makers are talking about ‘veggies’ (ugh, hate that word) in their dog foods. Dogs are meat eaters!

Yes, I have seen them in some specialty stores that I go to.

It is fine if you wish to live with that kind of diet, but don’t force your pet to live that way without consulting your vet.

There’s a story over on NAR about a woman and her child looking for organic Honey Crisp Apples. The clerk said they didn’t have any but perhaps they like to try another variety? “No, my horse only eats Honey Crisp, and they MUST be organic.”

Typical. Forcing your own preferences onto others, especially those who can’t fight back
