I used to ask, ’Want to go steady with me?" Now, well, we are still going steady – but some wobble is starting up lately!

… and checking each other’s pulse.

…and the fact they are holding each other up is romantic!

Sweet ….. but Sad . Try to exercise every day ;-)

Usually you keep each other up, but sometimes both of you are on the floor.

Or guess which one has Alzheimer’s.

It can also mean if one of you does fall the other does too.

Isn’t it in the marriage vows “I take you to have and to hold … for better, for worse, … in sickness and in health, … in standing and falling …” ?

I hope you people commenting are pluggers. If not, you are just being mean.

True. My late husband and I used to prop each other up sometimes.

I hold my wife’s hand when we’re shopping in a store. that way I know when she turns down an aisle to look without telling me. After that it’s cell phone calls – “Where are you at?”

I’ve had to do this when stepping off the curb since I hurt my knee, but I can go up and down stairs now unassisted so thats progress.,

Granted that as we age, help maneuvering steps may be needed, but I like to think of it as ❤️ love always.

Patsnozzle and I used to hold hands. That way we couldn’t hit each other. RIP baby! :)

My wife and I are both 75 and we walk the mall holding hands. A younger woman came up to us to tell us how nice it was to see an older couple still holding hands. Well…yes and no.My wife is a little wobbly but we still like to hold hands.

If we held hands we’d both fall down. We wait until we sit down.

Before my late husband became wheelchair bound, there was a lot of truth to this for us.
