Maybe you should spend less time in the chair, that way he won’t associate you “moving in it” with a walk.

It’s a reminder to stand and stretch.

That is precisely our dog but, she doesn’t listen to reason. Then she just slinks away moping.

So you’re saying you want to give me a treat?

The mere implication is all that is needed. The appearance of a tennis ball or frisbee is a commitment.

My dog Maggie gets to run out the front door when there is a squirrel in the bird feeder. If I move in my chair, she runs to the door.

He just wants to be ready for when it does mean a walk.

Oh you silly dog owner you. Of course if you move in your chair it means a walk. Of course if you weren’t so cheap you would live in a house with a fenced in back yard and could let the dog out when ever they wanted to go out.

I forget who said it, but “Optimism, thy name is Dog” sure knew what they were talking about. Love it! Thanks for the laugh. I really love how you show the doggie’s tail.

Whenever I move slightly, my dog thinks it’s time for her to eat or that it’s time for me to eat. Either way, she follow me everywhere.

I don’t have a fence and my dog can’t run loose. My dog seems to get this, and yet wants to go out probably 10 times a day. Due to her age and a new diagnosis of stage 2 chronic kidney failure, if she wants out, we go out. Luckily so far, even at age 13, she still sleeps all night quietly. That could change any time. Generally, I don’t whine about it – I have always been willing to take her out when she wants to go, unless it’s below zero outside and very icy. I still do it, but really don’t like it.
