You gotta pay the retailers to be at eye level.
That’s were the cheaper stuff is
Heavy stuff is on bottom, so the stockers don’t have to lift it as high, which helps avoid workers comp!
Or … on the third lowest shelf should be low-calorie foods,
on the second lowest shelf should be lower-calorie foods,
and on the lowest shelf should be lowest-calorie foods.
Plain bottled water is the only low-calorie item in grocery stores where I live.
Low calorie food need to be on the top shelf so that the heavier calorie food doesn’t leak down into it…
They are located over here, between the candy and the ice cream…!
They always put the high calorie junk food on the lower shelfs because it is in the eye line sight of the little kids.
What I’ve never understood is why, in clothing stores, the small sizes are on the top shelves and the large sizes are on the bottom shelves.
I hate the price tag is on lowest shelf, you can’t read unless you are on your knees so I just pull it out of slot and lay it near items.
Maybe someday they’ll get the message.
If they only carried foods that were truly healthy, they would need a lot less shelf space.
High calorie foods are between the elbows and eyes.
I see Entenmann’s, Oreos, Little Debbie, ice cream cones, … I don’t think this is the place to look for low calorie anything.
Just like a department store where the larger sizes of jeans and sweaters are always on the lowest shelf. And the XS on the top. Seriously.
Since lower calorie foods have less in them, they would float up to the top shelf.
I like it when cartoonists combine actual photos with their drawings.
Comic over photo is interesting.
High calorie foods on the lowest shelf cause you need the exercise.
I stay away from lite foods, most are loaded with salt or chemicals to make them taste better than the cardboard they’re packaged in
