The real life conundrum for the compliant is when you’re midway across the intersection and the crosswalk light changes to Stop! (confused me as a kid)

In a park near home they put up barricades and chains every winter saying “No Winter Maintenance”. They are still up.

He’ll probably have a mental breakdown. or just return home and take a nap.

Grab the barrier, lift and turn 180 degrees. It’s now someone else’s problem. Proceed on original course. Watch out for Skittles.

Nope. Not crossing when something like that is there. Besides, you can just cross the side street and then cross on the other side of the intersection.

Wait. They’re probably just painting the lines of the crosswalk. They’ll remove the “Do Not Cross” soon – when the paint has had a chance to dry.

It seems there’s a shortage common sense in much of the population these days…

Reminds me of the one-way dead-end street with all the cars piled up at the far end of it.

They named a street after Chuck Norris but they had to change it back. Nobody crosses Chuck Norris and survives.

Just walk around the barrier. That way, you are not crossing it, but you can still walk.

I guess I’m not very compliant, I would just go around, especially because it doesn’t say not to.

But what if I’m happy, is it ok then? I’ll give it a compliment and keep on walking. That should do the trick.

What have they got against Catholics?

This is NOT a conundrum! Don’t cross safety barriers! In the real world, that crosswalk would be closed for construction, maintenance, or maybe malfunctioning signals.

Sign on one street near where I work and part of the driving test route. “Do Not Pass”. At least one or more drivers (new learners and experienced ones) will stop at the sign and turn around or just sit there confused. It’s a wide two lane….big enough for four lanes….just don’t pass the one in your lane if they are to the right is what the sign means.
