hello, The Great Gonzo? have i got a Chicken act for you!
That’s a real pullet surprise!
Or the Beatles.
Now there’s something you don’t see every day.
They’re still getting to the other side.
I’ve heard they’re getting pretty tired of having their motives questioned.
A chicken wakes up to a new world every day.
Far as the Chicken’s concerned everything’s A-OK.
A chicken don’t worry about nothing, but clucking,
And the price of eggs today.
(And don’t worry much about that.)
‘Cause what the farmer don’t snatch before she can hatch,
The weasel gonna steal ’em anyway.
EGG-sactly!
But it isn’t the chicken that crossed the road. That question has never and will never be finally decided.
Why’d the chicken cross the road? Easy. To prove to the possum (or in Texas, the armadillo) that it could be done!
Did I ask?! Did I ask?1
I thought you only put ducks in a row.
So, the rumors of them getting away from Colonel Sanders are false…
They’re crossing the street to get away from the fried chicken restaurant.
Wow… who knew?
So THAT’S why they cross the road…
It’s the happy faces on the chickens I love.
but the first one had to have a reason – maybe trying to get away from the BBQ joint on one side.
They are just forcing the first chicken across the street in hopes he will get hit by the punch line first.
Why? Because the “Walk” sign was lit.
An update unintended follow to yesterday’s ‘Flying McCoys’ I see.
Better than the chicken dance or the Macarena, I guess.
Summer’s here and the time is right for dancing in the street.
It’s hard to resist a conga line!!!
To get away from Chuck C. Johnson
What on earth do chickens have to do with conga lines?
