Ten years will likely change your mind on that one.

Caulfield will need to have a literally open house if he’s going to do ziplining and bungee jumping.

If Caulfield is looking for something adventurous, that snake he is holding might help him do it.

Will Caulfield have any friends? Maybe a girlfriend ?

I love that he caught a snake; I used to bring them home all the time when I was little, and my Mom never freaked out, just told me to let it go when I was done playing with it. I still like snakes, though I don’t mess with them as much nowadays (I also have a rescued Ball Python)!

Especially on Sundays Frazz I miss the higher resolution of the strips on Gocomics. I wish I could get a closer look on that annoyed snake.

Caulfield is always hoping for ‘more.’ More reaction from Mrs. Olsen. More reaction from other students when he’s on a rant.

I grew up in Southern Idaho. We had lots of rattlers and gopher snakes. Gopher snakes emulated the rattler for protection even creating a buzz by striking the ground with the tail. We would catch both gophers and rattlers. We even kept one rattler as a pet for quite some time. Mom didn’t know we had that one. We had a mobile home set up as a fort that sat next to dad’s shop. Dad knew. The gopher snakes we would catch and release, except a large 6 ft one we kept for about 5 years.

Love the artwork and the snake and Caulfield’s plans for his party, which I intend to crash.

You’re planning a graduation party already when you’ve just spent 30 years in 3rd grade?

The reception after my grand-nephew’s bar mitzvah last year was held at a sort of indoor amusement park called Urban Air. I thought it was a cool idea to have an event where the bar mitzvah boy himself and his friends could have fun, rather than (as I recall from 59 years ago) just sitting around bored to tears while the relatives ate, shmoozed, and danced. I tried a few of the attractions there, including a trampoline-basketball sort of setup (I gave up after a total miss, a bounce off the rim, and a shot that got stuck between the rim and the backboard), and was undoubtedly twice the age of anyone else who tried the zip-line ride.

My cousin’s daughter’s graduation party had an inflatable slide and a cotton candy machine. Those folks know how to throw a party.
