I may not know art, but I know what I like. (And Picasso doesn’t come nowhere near close!)

When Pablo Picasso was a young struggling artist, he was several months behind in the rent.

The landlord came by and told him that if he didn’t come up with the money he would be evicted on Tuesday.

Picasso exclaimed, “Before you kick me out, just think, years from now people will look at this building and say the great Picasso lived there.”

The landlord looked at him blankly and said, “And if you don’t come up with the money they can start doing it Tuesday.”

Is anyone here concerned about A.I. as I am? Art such as this can easily be replaced or replicated. Music, books, sculpture. It all can be replicated in less time than it would take a human to prepare. The only thing that A.I. cannot do without human assistance is make mistakes. That makes us human.

Why did the Picasso double its cost in such a short time? Just one more example how the wealth produced by the workers funnels upward. The Billionaire-Investor class doesn’t have to ask “How much?” A wealthy person owned it and knew he could double his money with one of his peers. And, any help for the workers, or even less fortunate, is to be resolutely resisted.

I looked up that painting. I thought maybe RBION wasn’t doing it justice in the drawing. That is one ugly painting in my opinion. I don’t understand how so much value can be stored in that picture. Anyway, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Ferrisburgh will be lucky if his paintings double in value over eight years!

Picasso is the artist who fused Impressionism with hallucinogens to create a new form called “Modern Art”.

I know several animals that, like Ferrisburgh, enjoy painting as a form of habitat enrichment at zoos. One of my favorite pieces of art is a finger painting done by a gorilla

The kestrel reminds me of the story about the monkey, not known about by the judges, who won a prestigious abstract art competition. Don’t know if that says more about abstract art or the judges

I wonder if Adam Duritz ever met Picasso.
