I’m glad Chitter and Chatter are finally being recognized as “not just spies”. I’d even say, for Mag, they’re family. So go get em boids!

That final panel is gorgeous. Some excellent work. Granted this whole comic is a feast for the eyes but it’s nice ot call out when Georgia does some of her best work.

I think they will need to go far. They are such important assets.

One thing I’ve learned from the chickadees that come to my feeder is that though they be little, they are fierce!

It’s nice that the flashback Sunday featured these three prominently. Well, two were a bit “embryonic” at the time, but still.

he third panel made me think of “Family Circus” and the convoluted paths the kids always took. Seems appropriate. Maybe not intentional, but Georgia does like to show respect in subtle ways to those artists that came before.

Gutter looks quite handsome in that second panel. A very gallant trash panda in shining armor, with mad MacGyver skills.

We know somebody bought the Big Purple house and is remodeling it. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the people who picked up Sophie were the ones who bought it and all this time she’s been right across the street but too afraid to come out from under chestard’s drawers to look out a window. (I really don’t think that’s the case. I don’t think those old folks would have been willing to sacrifice that beautiful window. It was just one of those random thoughts that flash through my brain from time to time.)

Yes! This looks very promising. Hopefully they will find Sophie soon.

Don’t forget Chitter and Chatter are accomplished ice skaters, as shown in the February 12, 2023 comic.

As much as I am curious how Sophie is doing I’m glad Georgia is instead focussing on rescue efforts. I’m unsure I could handle strips of that terrified gentle artist.

So now I wonder, will Sophie’s rescue be sooner rather than later? And is it at all possible that much of the summer will be Sophie and Gutter getting to know and understand each other? I think I would like that.

I wonder if the cricket will come back into the story.

My hear soars hopefully with the dramatic visual and the confident declaration of Chitter and Chatter’s capabilities in the third panel.

OT: the storm in the Gulf is named Alberto. Supposed to make landfall overnight, probably near Tampico Mexico? Hoping it won’t be too bad…

Here’s a link with some info about the local octagon house. This one doesn’t tell about the supposed hauntings, but does indicate that people are trying to restore it. I’ll have to take another drive-by soon.
