The boss likes it very much! From Wiipedia: O tempora, o mores is a Latin phrase that translates literally as “Oh the times! Oh the customs!”, first recorded to have been spoken by Cicero. A more natural, yet still quite literal, translation is “Oh what times! Oh what customs!”; a common idiomatic rendering in English is “Shame on this age and on its lost principles!”, originated by the classicist Charles Duke Yonge.
And in this installment: literally nothing. It’s purely suspense-building, no actual information given to the reader about anything, unless you count, “Someone is excited about something.”
A bit of advice to the authors of this feature, coming from a place of support and encouragement: Go read a month’s worth of old Milt Caniff strips and get some pointers on holding a plot thread through six days, three or four panels at a time. I honestly never really know what’s going on in these strips from one day to the next.

P.2. A real life expression I don’t believe I have seen in a comic before. Great capture, “Carlos”. :-)

All I’ve got to say is;
“Oy Vey!”
This story is more sleep inducing than a Firestrike SBD!

The Comics Curmudgeon is right. This story really isn’t very interesting.

Clearly meant ‘Oh! Smores,’ given his bulk.

Somehow I think the mores he’s looking at aren’t specific to any particular tempora.

MOVIE QUOTE—
“If you asked a sailor how fast his ship was going, he wouldn’t say “miles” to you. He’d say “knots” to you.
Well,Nuts To Him,.too,if that’s the way he feels!"
