Take a national gawk & gloat tour, then consider. I have known many who could stand not being useful for about a month and then went back as independent contractors (they were oilfield, so they came back at twice their retirement salary).
He has a very valid point, Joe. Although, that’s a pretty old vehicle to take out on the open road. Better to trailer it to where you want to cruise imo.
Crunchy, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the weekend of August 3-4 this year. The whole week leading up to it is full of folks gawking at the display of muscle cars from every era. The impromptu cruises and organized displays by the owners allow them all of the gloating that they want. Then if you wish, you can enter it in one of the races in Schenley Park over the weekend where over 3000 cars will be on display.

My guess is that at some point on this road trip, the car will get stolen again and Crunchy will be back to work until it’s recovered.

He should bring Yolanda along, too. A lot of people never seem to find the time to check out the treasures to be found in their home state.
