When I first joined our company, the starters were given a number of ‘lectures’ on various areas of the business. One of those was for quality control, which was given by someone with a really boring droning voice. Couple that with the content and I must have dozed off. I didn’t realise, but when I came round again, I noticed the presenter looking at me and then asking me if I was alright. I said ‘Yes, fine’ and he continued. It wasn’t until after the meeting that someone else told me I’d dropped off.
