That is a perfect summary of the situation we find ourselves in

The law in its majesty forbids the rich as well as the poor from sleeping under bridges and panhandling. That’s equal, right?

MAGAt hero Thomas is a prodigious Constitutional Scholar, but cannot understand disclosure forms.

And NONE of the Republican Supreme Court Justices can come to grips with judicial ethics that every other judge in America has to obey.

We knew ahead of time that Thomas was a criminal who lied numerous times in his confirmation hearing, of course. His taking of bribes didn’t surprise any intelligent people. Alito was known ahead of time to be greedy, and to love his speaking fees. We did not know that he is SO dishonest as to take bribes.

Everyone has their price. And some don’t care if it destroys our democracy.

I don’t recall reporting on gifts of yachts or unmarked bills, but what does it say about the court that I would not be surprised if Thomas and Alito also got those “gifts”?
