Backwards always chokes me a little.

I don’t see why she threw it away in the first place. It looks fine to me. No holes or tears. Unless it’s got some bad stains on it that won’t come out. But if he’s not out in public, what does it matter if the shirt is stained?

Old tee-shirts are FIRST used as cleaning rags, THEN thrown away. Earl didn’t know.

Earl goes by comfort. He doesn’t care what it looks like. Only opinion he cares about is Roscoe’s.

Earl may be planning on doing work that requires getting dirty. Oh, who am I kidding? He is planning on eating messy foods!

It was still good for one more wearing on the inside.

Shred it, and Earl will not only find every piece, but he’ll also duct tape it together and wear it inside out, just to SHOW her!

Opal do not look at his socks! Earl goes by thickness of the sock, not by looking for matching socks. Are his shoes on correct?

My wife once physically ripped a shirt off me she had told me she didn’t want to see me in again…

We were told we would never be allowed back in that store.

Opal put it in the trash, but Earl believes in recycling.

My wife told me the other day I should get rid of some of my old shirts. I told I will when she gets rid of her old nightgowns. That ended that!

Earl is correct, she only threw it out because the outside front looked bad. The inside back is in good condition.

How inappropriate

Well, guys need a few tatty garments for when we do the outdoor dirty chores, or work on the car, or paint something.

On the other hand, not having tatty garments would be a handy excuse to just nap instead.

It just happens to be Earl’s favourite shirt.

So Earl retrieved the shirt from the trash and put it on? The whole strip makes no sense.

Why would that be out int the trash? It doesn’t even look that dirty.

Eons ago, when I was in high school, a lot of us did that on purpose.

When my maternal Gramma wanted to throw out any of Grampa’s old clothes, or anything for that matter, she brought it to the trashcan at our house.

Ok, fess up! Who hasn’t gone back to the donation center to buy back the favorite item you donated because you thought you could do without it? I have!

I can get one more day outta this shirt, then (I might) toss it.

I do perdiocic, surveys of all good will items. Never know when that 50 year old concert shirt will get lost. And I still remember, always a moment.

Never throw other people’s stuff away.
