Looks like Edgar has the last bark, er, laugh in this whole arc!

Be careful that when he does learn to use it that he doesn’t use it all the time and wake you up or make you get up when he doesn’t really want to go out.

Figures. John spends time installing a second doorbell just when the dog figures out that he’s supposed to bark to be let out…

Edgar: “Did I say something wrong? Maybe I meant to say Ruth, Ruth, Ruth?”

Trivial note. With this update, Michael’s beard has gotten a really bushy, full growth treatment.

Take a look at the original version from July 08, 1995. Mike’s beard was noticeably thinner! You can barely even see that it was a thin Van Dyk_ beard back then.

Looks like another pet has trained its “owners” (more like ownee). Yet somehow the ownee thinks they are more intelligent than their pet.

Once the family is trained, give a shout of triumph.

Edgar just gave that family his best Michigan J. Frog act.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I had a Great Dane who had a unique method of getting me out of bed to walk her. If a gentle nudge or two with her nose didn’t wake me up and get me moving, she’d pick up one of my cowboy boots and drop it on my head!

Just when you thought you had it all figured out…you didn’t!

That’s it Edgar, keep em on their toes. Who’s a good boy? Who’s a good, good boy???

John is not only a dentist but a master electrician. Me personally I would have used the doorbell wires on the left side of the door on the inside to match to the wires already in the wall for the doorbell on the right for the outside door. Running the connection wires around the door is master electrician kind of work. Good thing John got that training while he was in dental school. Very impressive.

LOL, I love it! He knows they’re inside waiting to let him out!

The neighbors would prefer he not bark, of course.
