Look kid, your parents have a choice: a demented sociopath bent on fascism or an older guy who actually does care for you.

Ms. Benson is pointing out the lack of interest by younger voters in the candidates of the major parties. Pretty typical every election cycle.

If you live here, it is your circus. And you must learn to care about the future. Even those of us who won’t live to see the eventual destruction of the world prefer to do our best for the coming generations and VOTE BLUE at all levels.

Do you notice it is only MAGAt rubes who attack President Biden but if you want to know what a fraud the Reality Show Con Artist is all you have to do is ask the people he HIRED?

They either trash him – calling him a moron, inept, incompetent, corrupt, a security risk and a fool to world leaders – or testify against him at trial.

There are only three possible explanations.

    1) they are right

    2) he is a fraud and bad executive for HIRING these losers

    3) they are right and he is a fraud and bad executive for HIRING these losers

Either way, it is not someone you want running a 7-11 let alone a country.

For those that can’t decide, just vote Democratic up and down the ticket and keep freedom a real thing and not just a bizarre illusion. See, problem solved.

Ron DeSantis. He was right there. He is the archetype of what is needed to save America.

God Willing, he will come out of the GOP convention as the nominee. But, it is more likely that we are under judgement from God and will suffer the results of our nation’s rejection of him.

    KISS (keep it simple, stupid)

Who takes away rights and freedoms?

Who makes it more difficult to vote, and interferes with votes already cast?

Who encourages people to register and vote, helps those who need help to vote, makes an organized effort to get as many out to vote as possible?

Those with nothing to hide want more people voting, those with something to hide want less voters voting.

    This ain’t rocket science.

Many voters aren’t yet tuned into the election, they will likely tune in around Labor Day (if not the party conventions). But since politics are a big part of American society, the kid (who isn’t yet old enough to vote) shouldn’t be so quick to think, “So what?” One day he would be old enough to vote and he will (hopefully) see that the electoral process is everyone’s business.

If you elect clowns, expect a circus. It was proven in 2016. Evidently, too many people like circus government.

Heck, I can’t wait. I’m already preparing my copy for conservative release: A perfect performance by Trump leads to debate victory despite everyone cheating and the cards being stacked against him. I think the key selling points (beside a Trump victory) will be his perfection, how the media conspired against him. See, when reality doesn’t matter, it’s easy to write the results in advance of the debate.

Prosecutors release new photos of ‘highly guarded secrets’ in messy boxes at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

‘Classified’ documents were shoved in boxes with old shirts and next to crates of Diet Coke, special counsel says

One image shows a closet with newspapers and other documents spilling out on the floor from tipped-over boxes.

Smith’s team wrote that Trump “personally chose to keep documents containing some of the nation’s most highly guarded secrets in cardboard boxes along with a collection of other personally chosen keepsakes of various sizes and shapes from his presidency – newspapers, thank you notes, Christmas ornaments, magazines, clothing, and photographs of himself and others.”

After he left the White House in January 2021, Trump took his “cluttered collection of keepsakes” to his Florida home, “where the boxes traveled from one readily accessible location to another — a public ballroom, an office space, a bathroom, and a basement storage room,” according to prosecutors.

“Against this backdrop of the haphazard manner in which Trump chose to maintain his boxes, he now claims that the precise order of the items within the boxes when they left the White House was critical to his defense, and, what’s more, that FBI agents executing the search warrant in August 2022 should have known that,” they added.

His latest “profoundly flawed” defense on “spoliation of evidence” grounds is “yet another attempt to his latest unfounded accusations against law enforcement professionals doing their jobs,” according to prosecutors.

Trump faces 40 separate charges stemming from allegations that he withheld hundreds of documents at his Florida property, then conspired to obstruct the government’s attempts to get them back.

    He has pleaded not guilty.

… The Policy Horizons report surveyed hundreds of experts and government officials about disruptive events that Canada might do well to prepare for. Then, the authors classed those scenarios based on the likelihood they will occur, how soon they might happen and how much chaos they might create.

American civil war ranked as an improbable but ultra-high-impact event.

Other scenarios in that general category included the proliferation of homemade biological weapons; the rise of antibiotic-resistant pathogens, leading to mass death and food shortages; and the outbreak of World War 3.

John McArthur, a Brookings Institution scholar who sits on the Policy Horizons steering committee, told me the report’s description of American civil war might reflect the depth of Canadian anxiety about U.S. politics, more than a literal concern about an 1861-style war between the states.

Stressing that he was speaking for himself and not Policy Horizons, McArthur noted that the rise of American protectionism and isolationism during the Trump administration had rattled the Canadian psyche and upended decades-old economic relationships. Donald Trump’s policies and personal behavior toward Canada — including trashing Trudeau after a previous G7 meeting in Quebec — have left a painful mark. …"

No matter what you think of the candidates. One has called for “The suspension of the Constitution”

No matter what the other issues are We can not elect the guy that says outload the he is more important that the constitution.

Listen to the Fascists. They always tell you who they are but the voters are too stupid to believe them.

Trump won’t reveal his personal finances before Debate Day

Donald Trump is delaying disclosing his personal finances for a second time this year, meaning Americans will be denied the latest details about the former president’s ever-shifting personal finances before he debates President Joe Biden later this week.

Self serving criminal Trump lies about everything all of the time.

    From Jim Wright:

“How about George Washington high school? ‘We [democrats presumably] want the name removed from that high school.’ They don’t know why. You know, they thought he [Washington] had slaves. Actually I think he probably didn’t.’”— Donald Trump addressing the Faith And Freedom Coalition, last Saturday night.

    Emphasis mine.
