Actually, mom got a new job.

it’s all about qualifications and short straws.

I’d love to know what was mom’s job before

Some moms still follow that tradition. Many have adapted to combine work and momhood. Some have reversed roles with dads. It’s still a work in progress for each family. One hopes that each tries for what works best for the future of the child.

Why, Calvin? Pure male chauvinism, that’s why!!

All parents at one time or another have gone to work to have some peace.

That’s a score for Dad. Let’s see if he can convert the extra point.

That’s the trouble with curiousity.

She was a school teacher.

I know Calvin has quite an imagination and quick wit, but his dad has shown his mind isn’t terribly slow. He is going to have to recognize and accept the wired neurons inside of Calvin’s brain is half of his responsibility….and you can’t convince me the weirdness comes from his wife!

Was it ever stated what Calvin’s mom’s job was.

Ever notice that the guys complaining about people getting paid for not working are the same ones who are perfectly OK with housewives working without getting paid?
