This is shaping up to be sort of like a typical Perry Mason or Matlock plot – Borden gets there and finds Gabe already dead, but the cops think Borden did it. Except, in Dick Tracy, the cops don’t make those kinds of mistakes (or at least, they never did when Gould was writing.)

MONDAY OT: Going to read through a new book. Well, actually write the battle sequence at the end. Just been so long I can’t recall which name belongs to which chara. Sheesh! you’d think with 50+ comic book credits(not all scripting) and about 30 novella and books under my belt, I’d have at LEAST the dim wits to work up character detail sheet in advance, for just such a merry occasion!

Then again, we’re talking someone who, in a delicately underplayed Peter Lorre voice (emphasizes the aura of menace) informs the pillow that putting on the pillow case will be sloooow torture, when making the bed…
