    The buttons do work. A friend was the service man for the signals in the town where we lived and he said if you ever come to a signal light that is stuck, if someone pushes the walk button it will reset the cycle. Soft reboot

    trivia: pedestrians within a crosswalk (US) have the right-of-way regardless of control device operation. on military bases, pedestrians always have the right-of-way, anywhere, no exceptions, and it’s taken Very seriously.
