I was reading a book when my 5 year old asked “Why is that book so thick?”

I told him “Its a long story.”

I saw a woman punishing her son for doing something bad – never actually saw what it was – and took his phone away. This boy was around 8 and he went mental yelling what was he supposed to do now. She said he was being punished by having his technology removed. He had absolutely no idea how he was going to handle life now and was pleading relentlessly to have it back and he was soooooo sorry, crying steams of tears. So the modern age is now all about “lose your phone and your life ends” is it?

One reads from their electronic devices. Of particular hilarity when I see these kinds of statements is that one is typing onto the same technology what one is complaining about and feeling pretty special about their opinion.

When I was in sixth grade, my teacher was punishing me for something. I don’t remember what. She put me in a back room. With a bookcase. Best punishment ever.

It never needs batteries or updating. You can borrow it, lend it, reread it or use it as a doorstop.
