It’s telling, after watching coverage of hostages held by Russia being released in a prisoner swap, the difference between Trump and an actual man. A man, Biden, doing everything he can, albeit imperfectly, to do what’s right for our country and it’s citizens, quietly and behind the scenes and without fanfare until it’s done, despite advancing age and the coming end of his presidency. Then there’s Trump, who has nothing to offer but insults, lies, boasting, projection, character assassination, name calling and bluster. A petulant child in an out-of-date man suit. I’m still and continually astounded that so many people cannot seem to tell the difference.

Way back in 2016, the flunkies (and, more importantly, the handlers) of Criminal Trump (he was not yet a traitor) told us to take Trump seriously but not literally. The press wants desperately for this to be a close, nail biter of an election season. They are going to sad little kids in November when they discover there was no pony under that pile of BS.

That comment did have a hidden meaning though. “I need this election or I’m going to jail for the rest of my life. Right after they RICO everything I’ve ever touched” That makeup hides the flop sweat nicely.

Trump advocated drinking bleach, horse wormer, “ignore the pandemic and it will soon pass” etc. Countries that isolated early on were spared the pandemic by and large. Trump never talked about zinc.

As long as real democracy exists, an opponent can win the next election and eliminate everything you have done, no matter how good or bad it is. The only way to stop that from happening is to vote again, or get enough power and end voting. If someone tells you won’t need to vote again, it is because they are getting rid of voting. This is elementary my dear Watson.

Three things I’d like Trumpy fans to remember on Election Day. The time he mocked the reporter for his handicap, what he said about John McCain being a loser because he was captured, and what he said to his brother about his son. If you can convince me that that makes him a godly man, I’ll vote for him…

Be careful about thoughtlessly repeating that the press is useless, biased, and incompetent. A lot of that criticism originates in the same ideological drive that produced Trump and Koch/ALEC/Heritage Foundation-supported neofascism. Now that they have successfully in the minds of many proven that news media can’t be trusted, then when that media reports that someone fomented insurrection or worse, it’s simply “fake news” because all news is fake. Remember, propaganda doesn’t just tell you untrue things; it fundamentally defines “truth” so that you no longer can think about what is true, but only about what you’re told.

I love the consternation and dismay that the Harris campaign has thrown the soi-disant “Party of Lincoln”, and their wholly-owned PR firm, Vulpinews, Inc. But I’m still going to hold my breath until the first Wednesday in November. Anyone who would consider something as outrageous as the Jan. 6 attempt, is capable of trying to fix his problem two months earlier. Don’t be surprised if you see members of the PB/Antifa/KKK/Nazi/et ilk, “ensuring a free and fair election” at your polling place.

But I can’t wait for the debate. She’s going to prosecute his fat ash to the wall.

Question: If a voter prefers neither Harris nor Trump, for whom would you be willing to vote?

Also, should Trump be elected, would this be considered his second term, or the beginning of what could (theoretically) be a two-term presidency?

I continue to see fewer “political comics” (as defined by GoComics) since they dropped our ability to comment on ’toons. Are the cartoonists taking a vacation break, or are they taking a break from GoComics?

And this past week, the people who said Trump will crash the economy and start WWIII has crashed the economy and are really close to starting WWIII! Thanks for nothing!
