My cat is too standoffish to do this. She won’t even get in my lap unless she is waiting for me to finish my ice cream bowl.

My boy, Sam, discovered the high back of my recliner, and perches there while I read.
I have a cat that does that too. Also an orange cat. Not him in the comic though, I see him guarding the back door.
Not really for me — I’m allergic to cats, and even if I weren’t, I can’t say I’d like the idea of keeping a pet or having a living ball of fur take up residence on top of my head. But each to their own. I’m happy to mind my own d@mn business.
