To explain the “too” in my above post, first Puck and now Goldie have learned to forge Georgia’s signature. Luckily, they are probably the two most trustworthy of the local cats, but I suggest that Georgia keep her credit cards safely locked up!
We would love our kitty to do her hairballs on the tile and not on the carpet. She always does them on the carpet and for some reason, I suspect she picks her place intentionally. Hairballs would be so much easier to clean up off of tile.
Okay, okay, we get it, you’re now fascinated by the toaster and what it does. As Bart would say, "To speak the plain truth, it’s getting pretty d@mn dull around here. What this story line needs is ………………………………………
Our current cat is 3. She has produced only one hairball. We take no credit for this. We think it may be due to her being a cat, a species with no normal members. She eats plenty of fur. We catch her mining the floor and furniture for it all the time.
I certainly understand everyone’s revulsion on this week’s comparative study of toast versus hairballs. Personally, I do not feel such a revulsion because I gave up on toast long ago. Why? Because Elvis’s conclusion earlier this week that toasters are jerks is quite correct. Whenever I tried to make toast it always seemed to come out either burnt or still just bread.
Personally, I’ve been making my toast in the senior resident’s toaster oven and I’m going to take it with me when I leave. It’s been fabulous. All I have to do is figure out how to clean the inside of the door. Oven toast is great anyway. When it’s half done, take it out, butter it and put it back in.

So Toast is, in some way, bread hairballs? I’d prefer literally any other explanation Goldie!

Hmm. Goldie seems pretty good a forging Georgia’s signature, too. Hopefully, Georgia is closely monitoring for identity theft!

There you go, Goldie, you’ve gotta make it relatable to your audience. Now the kitties get it.

Since the cats speak English this makes no sense. Was the word toaster not taught in vocabulary class?

Maybe this toaster is just a cousin of Talkie Toaster. It’s Horkie Toaster? Would you like some horked toasted?

I don’t know. A hairball with Irish butter and English marmalade doesn’t sound as good as toast.
Hmmm. On a completely different topic, have you Ever noticed that Roombas seem to watch you when you walk into a room?

Not sure I like the comparison to hairballs! I may never make toast again :)

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
At the Royal Stable
Violet-Ifa: Thanks for giving Beatrixia and me a lift to Floofnet’s Culinary School, Emma.
Emma-Peelia: No problem. I’m glad to do it.
Bea: Where’s Diana?
Emma: She’s at riding camp with Lupinium. I’m sure she’ll get into all kinds of mischief. And Avenger is with Puckmosis at the Afar Library and Café.
Vi: Alright. Let’s go.
At the Floofnet Culinary School
Floofnet the Joyous: Welcome, ladies! I understand there’s going to be a huge s’mores party.
Vi: Yes. We’ve come for your expertise. And of course you’re invited.
Floof: Wonderful! I’d like to visit with my nephew for a bit.
Bea: Thomios would love that.
Floof: I have some recipes for uh…condiments that would pair nicely with chocolate. There’s sea salt, cayenne, cinnamon. You name it.
Vi: Sounds like a visit to Amon-Merchant and Azibo’s Spice Plural shop is in order. We can stop on the way back.
Floof: We can go right after dinner. How about some ham with bacon? And oats and carrots for Emma.
All: Sounds like a plan!
To those who need a refresher, Noble Steed Avenger and Emma-Peelia are a married horse couple. They have a daughter, filly Diana.
