Illustration aside, sharks don’t really have a conventional tongue. Could you imagine roaming around, with a bit of wetsuit stuck in your teeth, under those circumstances?

I’m still imagining the epic battle that took place and the herculean effort on the part of the cat in dragging his prize home.

Might make a better guard animal than some dogs I’ve seen.

Our girl once ate the head off a snake she’d caught then left the rest on our doorstep for us. After determining that it wasn’t poisonous (we were in the AZ desert at the time) I skinned it, oiled, and pinned the skin to dry, then we had her souvenir for several years. Quite the conversation piece.
