One of these days Zoe will realize that her parents will be moving in, and she will be taking care of them.

Zoe has delusions of Mom and Dad being her maid and butler!

I’m immediately reminded of the time Wanda shoved Zoe so hard into the corner that only a little bit of arms and leg were sticking out!!

Parents hope doing chores, schoolwork, etc. will help a child build character, forgetting how they thought about those things when younger.

Things I discovered when I “grew up” (kind of). Having your own place means that if you drop something, YOU have to pick it up. Same with spills, dirty clothes, etc. Can’t be waiting for parents to visit, because your big fancy house will be ONE MESSY PLACE!

Revenge!

I told my kids when I get tired of living in my house and taking care of the yard, I’m moving in with them as they owe me 18 years of spoiling me…

Like you’re going to grow up. They don’t grow up any more. They get bigger. But they don’t grow up.

Life is not always a bowl of cherries. More often a bowl of grapes. Which you tend to share more often.

I haven’t seen Zoe doing any chores, ever.

Retribution

Hope those are seedless grapes or Zoe’s going to poop a tree(s), as the seeds have been well fertilized.

Is mother-daughter bonding over a bowl of grapes a trend?

She’s going to wonder why they don’t want to visit.

No, Zoe’s husband will be in the hotel.

Ahh, revenge can be sweet.

Dream on, Zoe.

Be kind to your children. They will choose your nursing home.

Hotel is the only way to go.

And we can ignore the chore chart just like you do.
