Look, I’ve never had any kids of my own but I’m wondering why kids make such simple things as finding and putting on shoes so complicated? Is it their way of wielding power?
If he wants to wear mismatched shoes, let him wear mismatched shoes. This is not a real problem, and I’m sure that, as a mom, Wanda has enough real problems to deal with that she shouldn’t need to make up more.
My eldest granddaughter and I wear mismatched socks occasionally. She called it “Odd Sock Day”. Being “Gramps”, I immediately adopted the practice with her.
The two shoes in his hand don’t match each other any better than either one matches the one shoe he’s wearing. So why didn’t he just grab the right shoe and leave the left one behind?

If Hammie wears shoes that don’t match, he’ll be considered a dork. If a famous person does the same thing, it’ll start a fashion trend.

In the 1990s, there was a short-lived fad, where you would buy two pairs of the shoe, but in different colours.
Then you’d wear one of each colour, at the same time.
