Just because he has the right of free speech does not mean he should not/cannot be held responsible for what he says. The Secret Services problem of protecting him from would be assassins could be solved by simply putting him, just like anyone else convicted and/or indited for the things he’s done, in jail.

Just as a reminder, JD Vance claims the legal Haitian immigrants in Springfield are really illegal because he disapproves of the laws under which they were admitted. And Trump’s advisor Stephen Miller is openly talking about “denaturalization” — stripping citizenship from naturalized citizens. So don’t believe them when they say it’s only illegal immigrants who are the problem. Their goal is a pogrom against anyone who doesn’t fit their image of what a “real” American looks like.

Excellent Ruben! I love the line: “She’s countering our truth-like lies with fake-sounding truth!” The “Eat my shorts” line had me ROTFL! Though these days things are so absurd that this strip practically wrote itself, I give you full credit for capturing the zeitgeist and bringing it to such detailed fruition!

This is beautifully done, encompassing it all, and I especially like the Anne Frank reference, with the good neighbor hiding them and Lisa reading from her diary.
