My wife can have the leftover pizza….if there is any. We get the smaller cauliflower crust once a week and I am not crazy about pizza BUT if it’s Asian, I throw it in a wok and warm it up with no arguments from her.
By that logic, doesn’t that make women “worse” than men? Sure, we’re clueless, so it doesn’t even occur to us that she might like it, but she knows full well we’d like it, and eats it anyway. With malice forethought.
Next time, leave 2 pieces of leftover pizza, one for her, one for him, on their own separate plates in the frig to eat during a late night snack attack.
One of the few times A&J does not reflect our marriage. We work out the fate of leftover pizza, if any, before it hits the fridge. Much depends on the toppings…
My 15+ yr old Black & Decker toaster oven has a bump-out in the back for a pizza pan (which came with it!) + it has a conv. button that I use when I’m baking something- usually brownies. On a different path in this thread- I drink a cold glass of milk with my pizza/spaghetti, when I’m at home. In public, I drink a Dr. P with them. I think the milk is a holdover from childhood, as that’s what we drank- no soda, except as a rare summertime treat. And then, it was usually grape or orange NeHi. Didn’t drink Coke/Pepsi until I moved away from home.
Husband is from an Italian family and there are very few places he would buy pizza or Italian food in general from as it is high in carbs and we are both Diabetic. He made our own pizza at home a number of times over the decades. After decades of being terribly picky about where he would buy or have pizza he allows himself one slice from the small pizza at the Asian buffet we go to when we go there. I find it terribly amusing that this is now the only pizza he has when he used to be picky about it and refuse same.
My teeth can no longer deal with pizza so it is gone for me – and I don’t really miss it.

“In general…” if there is a slice of pizza left over it is because the man did not know there was a slice of pizza left over.

If the pizza wasn’t wrapped, it’ll be like, yuck! (So says my sister…I say, Yum!")

I love leftover pizza, but I would leave it for my husband because I love him more.

Just put the box under the bed and have the pizza pie for breakfast.

Leftover pizza is rarely an item at our home. Sigh, now I want pizza and I’m still working on the first cup of coffee of the day.

I’m not quite sure where either one of them learned how to hold a piece of pizza while eating it

My wife loves cold pizza for breakfast. If there’s any left over, I might warm it up in the toaster oven for lunch.

No such thing as “leftover pizza”, it is just being held for another craving.
