This explains a lot about the whole moving or not storyline.

I love pets, but don’t understand humans that allow their pets to run their lives.

While I cannot relate to cats (I’m allergic). We had a 200+ pound English Mastiff which would do similarly and wind up herding you where he wanted you to go. Normally that was toward the treat jar, but he enjoyed the petting, ear scratching and chin scratching he got when he did that. I miss the big goof.

My cat will sit and stare at me until I follow him sometimes giving me a meow to get my attention. I’ll follow him to the door to let him out, or to the food dish to feed him. Sometimes he just wants to show me something. Very smart little tuxedo cat.

We had a story line that has just dead-ended … will they ever decide to move or not ? Will they buy or build a house ? Seems like we never had the answer and they went on to something else entirely. Don’t even have news from the kids !

Our puppy, Brit, has a cat-like talent to be exactly where you want to put your foot.

As Alias 1600 suggests, no wonder they can’t make a decision to move. Every which way Arlo turns, something turns him the other way. Oh, the joys of indecision.

Writer Roy Blount once said he had lived with cats for so long that he permanently walked like a man wading through high tide.

I have a mutt with about 20% Australian Sheep Dog. She’s always walking around me in circles, nudging me this way and that. Not so bad except when she’s wearing her leash, and I find myself dog tied and about to fall over.

Ours tend to run from us at certain times of the day, they fear flea meds (neck drops), toe nail clippings, and being put in the extra room for house cleaning.

No cats, no dogs, no other live animals. But I do have a rather large collection of teddy bears and some of their other non-live friends. They have their own room (the smallest bedroom) and husband managed to “adopt” some teddies also. (One of these days I really have to take a census of them.)
