TampaFanatic1 – has anyone here heard from him since Milton hit Florida. his last post was Oct 8th or 9th. The Orb Community over at Breaking Cat News is very worried and would appreciate it if you’d let us know if you hear anything. Thank you and hope your Floridian followers are doing well.
This year, maybe a month or so ago, I mentioned that I wanted to see an arc dedicated to Florence. It’s a pleasure to see that coming into fruition! She makes a lot of situations much more interesting with her own perspectives. Of the Nostrils sisters, she is evidentially the wiser of the two, and is very aware of the things going on around her.
Relevantly, with how self-aware Phoebe is, I wonder just how long it will be until she escapes the fourth wall. She’s broken it many times, but she hasn’t gotten out quite yet.
Never think you know what will happen in the future. You may think you have no chance of getting married, no reason to go on living, even — but you could be surprised, as people ever since Job have been finding out.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…the scuttlebutt on this strip from the moment that it premiered as a webcomic in 2012 is that it is the female equivalent of the classic comic strip “Calvin and Hobbes” that was syndicated from 1985-1995. And this storyline reminds me of a storyline where Calvin and Hobbes run away from home and go to the Yukon. But hey, you would have to be a Millennial like me to remember things like that, so kudos to Dana, Phoebe, and Marigold for jump-starting the imaginations of children in the new Millennium!!! Go PAHU forever!!!
