In panel three, is Sam examining the little floating blue arrowhead? He seems to be causing it to levitate either by his intense gaze or that weird palm up hand gesture.
Oh, haha. It’s just the wandering cursor on my monitor screen….
And we still have no idea what the Totten organization is, or how large. A part of it is concerned with real estate development – as Iggyman mentioned and we’ve seen for a week or so. But a large corporation may have a number of divisions with very different activities. We’ve apparently been shown that someone in the organization has clairvoyance, high technical electronic skills, and the power to turn invisible in the murder of the fake employee (he either has all those superpowers or we’re being exposed to sloppy writing… Too much exposure to sloppy writing can turn your skin green and make your hair fall out).
Nor do we have any idea of what crime is associated with this story… But someone was willing to commit murder to keep us from learning the answer to the question.
Misdirection going on? Just realized… Do we actually know if the murder had anything whatsoever to do with Totten?
Someone (foreign country or criminal enterprise… or even a witness protection program) prepared a wallet full of fake ID material – one of which was a faked ID for Totten employee. If they deliberately sent out the information with someone with no English skills or basic knowledge of how a subway system worked we are dealing with a Pottsylvania-level of idiocy… Or if they left it out where a crazy guy could walk off with it they’re still pretty dumb. By one of those massive coincidences that riddle the Dick Tracy strip the schmuck (another Yiddish term) with the fake ID is picked up the exact same day as the drunk real employee of Totten is picked up by the TA. Totten bails out their employee. Meanwhile, spies from Pottsylvania, or a rival mob, or the criminals the police are trying to protect the guy in witness protection from, catch up with him at the TA station and bump him off in some unknown way (as Batster sagely pointed out).
Totten may be nothing more than misdirection. We may have a plot to print counterfeit copies of the expensive Betty and Me comic issue 16! The guy with the fake ID was the engraver, brought over from Moldova, and had celebrated finishing the job by getting drunk and ended up being arrested.
1- DT: I don’t believe it a good use of your and Lizzo’s time to be putting on a fashion show when we’re trying to solve…something. I forget. SAM: Lee is wearing Oscar DeLaGario accented by a string of pearls from Clams. DT: SHADDAP!
2-: OK. The dead guy had fake ID from Totten – builders of the Two Fox Plaza that is coming soon. DON’T SAY IT, SAM!
3- SAM: I hate it when Tracy gives me an obvious set-up line and then won’t let me drop the punch! I’m so frustrated! LIZ: That’s what she said after asking if he was “com…”
DT: I CAN HEAR YOU! SHADDAP!!!! SHADDAP!!!! SHADDAP!!!!

Good morning™, everyone!
Charles has gone all-in with Lizz’s pupil-less eyes in panel 1, just like in the old days with Gould..I approve, but I wonder others will say.

Neil, I say it’s horrible!
I give Chucky tons of credit, but his Lizz is monstrous!
What’s with Sam’s hand in the last panel? Waiting for a high five?
I miss the excitement of the first weeks buildings display.

Good morning™, Lizzie’s Gould eyes !
Neat how her eyes reminded me of Chet’s pupiless eyeballs. Totten’s police background check looks good …… so far…
