He’s winging it. Or maybe not.

Flightless? Looked like a WINGLESS bird to me.

I suppose plummeting is a form of flight.

He looks very cracked up.

Got to check weight and balance and thrust to weight ratio.

Reminds me of the landing of the plane I took to Charlotte yesterday. You can tell who the ex-Navy pilots are. They are ones who reach to extend the tailhook before landing.

Items in the overhead did shift and some were possibly ejected.

Forgot to yell “To infinity…and BEYOND!”

Well he did get some air time at least.

At least with this crash he didn’t burn!

Now, if he can just get up and walk away…

Work on the landing, you had the flight part down pat… a bit short but still not bad for the first time.

Learning by experience can sometimes be ‘just a tad’ disappointing

Somebody get that poor bird a Red Bull. Red Bull gives you wings!

And then this bird give up trying to flies and evolve into roadrunner and rest is history.

Happened to me every time I tried to wing it.

There is a necessary prerequisite for “winging it”.

As God is my witness, I thought an Apteryx could fly!

to be fair, he was airborne… for a few seconds, anyway!
