Leaving TFB club

Nice, snake. Find a place to hide in there, and hibernate, too.

Yeah…Jane is pretty handy with a club alright !

Bears no eats snake but bears no want steenky snake in there with him.

Snakes gotta hibernate, too.

Outside there is no “might” — Jane would definitely clobber him.

This strip is set before shotguns were invented to hold down the snake population

Eaten or beaten. A difficult choice.

Hiding from Jane. A bear necessity.

Between a Bear and a club, I’d pick the corner

Safer with the bear.

Snake knows the the threat of death by bear is safer than a clubbing by FB.

And the bear will keep you warm, Snake.

Becoming part of a club no one wants to join.

Mite…..always better than definite!!!!

Playing the better odds

Funny how easy it is to pick the lesser of two evils.

I wish I could hibernate.

OK, but only if cleaned, roasted, and dipped in chocolate, nougat, and nuts.

Spring and snakes are out here in AZ, as much hiking as I did I never came across a rattler, heard them but I keep to the main trails in the spring.
