Cleaning a sewer line: My oldest brother and I worked for my Dad’s construction company. The company put in a brand new sewer line down the middle of a street. At each house there was a “Y” connection capped off with a cemented plug for each home owner to hook up at a later date. My brother and I were tasked with sewer clean-out. We filled a highest manhole full of water. The manhole sewer exit was closed with a rubber ball on a rope. We pulled the rope and the water would flush any dirt and sand out at the end of the sewer line. We did it once and at the end of the new line we got almost a wheelbarrow of sand and dirt. So we repeated it and again we got dirt/sand. The third time we noticed one of the house’s front yard was sinking! The pipe-layer forgot a house connection plug. The home owner got a brand new front yard!
We really need to retire those year glasses. They were fun from 2000 to 2009 but there comes a point where you have to realize you can’t keep reliving the past beyond its time
I can’t believe that 25% fall asleep. It has got to be more. Think of all the children, and all the people that take a snooze until 11:30, and then get up to see the year in.
For some reason that ball reminds me of people going over Niagara Falls in a barrel. I wonder if anyone has gone for a harrowing ride in the Paris Sewer ball?

A drunk wakes up in jail on New Years Eve
He asks the first police officer he sees, “Why am I here?”The cop replies, “For drinking.”
“Great!” slurs the man. “When do we start?”

I wish I could go to sleep like that but there’s too many drunken idiots with fireworks around me. They normally start at dusk and go on until about 2

Why would we not believe that firefighter rescued a cat from a pipe?
