Not entirely true that the Apollo 11 astronauts “went through customs” (they were a little busy with their quarantine), but they somewhat did famously fill out customs declarations when they got back…they gave out copies back during the 50th anniversary…I have some around somewhere. Fun!

I remember seeing something like a “Kiss and Go” lane at a Chicago train station. Time limit was probably closer to 30 seconds than 3 minutes.
