In T.Lexiworld, Lila is fabricating an interesting leg-puller of a story out of snippets of history, (in much the same way that parents answer their kids’ questions about Santa Claus.) And in T.Lexiworld, Annie is well aware of that, and delightedly appreciates that she has a Mom now to share silliness with. Love love love it, JWF!

I agree w/ moe_the_cat, goofy comments are bi-partisan. For instance @3hourtour – before PrezBo goes on vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, they must pass a shovel-ready Stimulus Bill so the Corpse-men can read it in their native Austrian language. When he comes back, he can go about healing the Earth and raising the seas, all while keeping unemployment no higher than 8.5%. That work out for you?

I sincerely hope Texas does not split up. Could you imagine what it would be like if that garden of lunacy suddenly had ten senators instead of two, not to mention that there would be four more governors and a flock of new congressional representatives?In fact, that was the main reason the US didn’t split it up – it would have put too many slave states into congress.Let ‘em secede and go back to being the Republic of Texas, but please, please don’t let them split up!

I’ve seen a few political statements made about this strip…and believe me I have my views and opinions…BUT…I’ld rather say…“I may not agree with what you say, but will defend your right to say it to the death”…well…not me…but my son…A 21 yr old Marine in Afghanistan…a war started under one Prez…and continued under another…both villified and hated by the “other side”…God Bless America and all our young men fighting for her.

“Chronically underfunded” so you must mean that, despite facts that per-capita spending on public schools in the US has continued to increase for decades, but test results have remained level or declined, that somehow we STILL aren’t throwing enough money at the problem?
