Urk! I HATE candy corn!

CANDY CORN – white, yellow and orange wax.

I used to eat candy corn all the time as a kid because of the sugar content.Now that Petey has finished ranking his candy, he can play the Alice game wit the rest of it.

Some people obviously love it and others hate it. I, personally, have never had it. And I’m not likely to try it either. I’m not up on sweats at all & I’ve got a lod of candy to get rid of.

I got natural flavors “mellowcreams” this year from natural candy store. com and they were delicious! Candy corn can’t compare.

given a bag of many kinds of candy, I tend to eat them in order of increasing preference.

As I have grown older I find my tastes in candy have narrowed considerably. I am no longer satisfied to eat anything put before me.

I only eat good dark chocolate now. Current fav is Green and Black’s, but Ghiridelli or Lindt are OK. I looked to buy some medium large hard candy lollypops, but only found the tootsie type with “chocolate” filling. Next year I’ll get it at Amazon (have a notification in there already)

I would think Brach’s Caramels would rank pretty high with Petey: small brown cubes of uniform consistency. It’s like Borg candy.

(I say this out of love; those were always the first things to disappear from my own haul.)

Yeah! Candy Corn. Probably the reason I’m Type II diabetic now. Any candy with raisins should be outlawed.

Some candy corn isn’t too bad… flavored with honey. But, of course, it can’t hold a candle to all the big-name chocolate bars and such.

I always ate candy corn individually, by section, first the white part, then the orange part, and finally the yellow part.

Candycorn mixed with peanuts makes a nice combo (limiting consumption of such to a month or so centered around Halloween)

So many people have been saying, lately, that they hate candy corn! Fine! Question: If so many people hate it, how has it lasted for so long? Seems to me that it has been around for as long as I can remember. Im nearly 50!

I always liked candy corn—until I found it contains gelatin. As a vegetarian, that’s not supposed to be in my food groups. Sigh…
