Been following this strip for years now and I think we’re finally getting somewhere with everyone’s favorite couple.. A major test has been passed, the future looks sweet!

I think he hits on her and she hires him to dominate him a s she tried to dominate Brad. I can’t believe I’m even writing this!!!???

I knew we were not finished with Ann just yet….some of you even predicted TJ and Ann crossing paths. I love the way TJ was drawn in the second panel – malicious intent towards Ann….

I swear, I’m really starting to hate this guy. I don’t know if anything that transpired while Brad was there could come back to haunt him, but that was not something TJ even considered. He NEVER thinks anything through. Perhaps Ann will decide to turn Brads happiness to misery, just for kicks.

I suppose that was Brad calling TJ. After all, there is no reason to blame him for getting him fired from WW and there was no reason to blame him for Toni placing her own job in jepordy. And later, when the sh** hits the fan and Brad asks TJ, “How did she even know I was back at the firehouse again?”. TJ will lie as usual and Brad will be stupid enough to believe the slime ball.

See Brad, all that time you thought Dirk was you’re worst enemy. And it was TJ all along. All Dirk ever did was hit you a couple of times. TJ is trying to ruin your life.

I am sensing somethin’bad’s gonna happen…..

A possibly satisfying twist for all: Annie Awful hires TJ and makes his life miserable, pleasing us as well as herself. Alternate possibility: TJ reveals himself to be the secret owner of WeenieWorld and fires her!

I keep hearing Katharine Hepburn’s voice inside my head whenever she speaks. Maybe as acted by Cate Blanchett. Frankly, I will be sorry to see her disappear from the storyline, as she must, has been wickedly entertaining. She would be great in an adults-only strip of her own.

Yeah, it would be extremely satisfying for TJ to say that, and even for Brad and Toni to find out that he did.But I am quite sure that Ann couldn’t give a toss.I’d call her a psychopath, except that she really does care if people are being subjugated – by her – otherwise they are quite outside her field of awareness in any way.Quite funny strip today.

Eiffel has met her match. T.J. is a smart and sassy guy who is going to give Eiffel a taste of her own medicine. Just you wait and see.

Does anybody know what TJ does for a living? For all I know, he just might own Weenie World.

So many turns this could take, like TJ & Ann E. becoming an item with Ann visiting the home of TJ and Brad and more mayhem begins. Maybe TJ becomes a cook at WW and somehow a fire erupts with Brad rescuing Ann E. who is soooo grateful. TJ and Ann E are interesting characters in this strip.

Uh-oh what’s T.J. up to now?… from that smirk on his face one can only imagine…

I’m thinking more along the lines that TJ is going to give Ann Eiffel a taste of her own medicine as we both know those two are scammers and how will one react when the other realize she was tricked into something because TJ is easily to Trick people into doing what he wants .

It would be funny if TJ’s mysterious non-parents were WW franchise owners—or CEO of the corporation board. TJ always seems to have money….

Someone was talking about Timeline Hell yesterday juggling two timelines if Brad/Toni had kids.

Remember that Greg spent years doing exactly that kind of juggling. Brad has gone from graduating high school, through 2+ years of EMT and fire academy training to having been in the FD for at least a couple of years. All while Luann has stayed 16. He was running a serial story and episodic story in the same strip and managed to keep everthing stable. He’s mentioned in email before that it drove him nuts at times, but it was an impressive stunt to manage.

Since they became an official “in-love” couple, he’s sort of harmonized the two major stories to these arcs we see now. Toni is more active outside the Brad story. Not bad for character that was originally intended to be a short-term foil for Brad in EMT class.

This is just the final resolution of the story arc, and a fitting one because ann should not continue to enjoy thinking Brad is jobless, she needs to know he has won.

@whayleI double checked and September 21, 1993 was a Tuesday. T.J. had just arrived back in town after having been away since he and Brad were kids. Dad asks, “You don’t mean that hood buddy of yours?” When Brad protests that T.J. is not a hood, one of several shenanigans he is reminded of is, “That boy set our picnic table on fire so you two could play firemen!” I find that rather ironic considering later events

TJ is a sweet guy, a great cook, and a good friend.

Now mojitobaby will probably say that I’m just Professor Chaos trying to end an identity and start a new one, but I don’t care.Me being here messes up what this comment area is for: discussing Luann. Most of the commenters here apear to be in favor of TJ’s actions. She is a master manipulator. Brad won’t even know that she knows he was rehired. TJ will be likely to keep that info to himself. Not until she drops the bomb that ruins his life. Right now he’s on top of the world. he’ll never even see it coming. TJ has to learn to control his oral diareaha.

TJ can handle a wild woman…Brad is too nice and needs more of a caretaking sort. Brad and Ann were like oil and water never able to congeal. TJ and Ann can be like a fine salad dressing…over Romaine lettuce, an excellent hard Itallian cheese and some anchovies…ymmmmmmmm.

I think the arc will take one of two turns, 1. Some antagonistic relationship leading to romance between them or 2. Eiffel, feeling no one should escape her wraith proceeds to find ways to annoy the happy couple.

I did not find this mentioned today in the comments—there will be a fire at WW and someone will have to rescue Eiffel.

Ummmm wasn’t it revealed a while back that TJ is rich?? Maybe he has something to do with weenie world…

You’re right. There is no reason. How many people do bad things to others when there is no reason to do so? But she does have a reason. She threw herself at him and he rejected her.
