Bob didn’t get “screened” for the position? With rapidly changing technology wouldn’t “Master” be obsolete unless his father started the business? Nothing wrong with nepotism.

The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.

Come on guys, it’s never been proven that Barbara Eden even has a navel….

I guess you’ll get it in 20 years.

Fortunately as time progressed, it seemed that Watson was great at Jeopardy, but horrible at everything else. We still have a few years before the computers enslave us :)

The reverse has occurred…now the computers keep the records while Bob curses them because he can’t find the records. Control Alt Delete will fix this problem.

Sometimes I just don’t get a certain generation…who was actually looking at Barbara Eden’s navel? There were other, more interesting things to look at.

I remember this…I was working in a place where we got brand new workstations, with Windows 3.2 already installed…with 64kb of memory…Yep, it ruled us every day…

My computer at work usually behaves when I yell at it. Its been good for a couple of weeks or so. But I’m changing desks next week. Different computer. sigh. and sigh again. Will have to train a new computer.

The caledar date was part of the strip. Predictive.

If this was “first published 20 years ago,” why does the computer say he “started…in ’92”?
