Yet another character into the mix! “Marina” is interesting, given the fact that there are no oceans (as such) on the Moon. Snails still seem to be important in their culture, from the wall lamps to the shape of the cookies!

Wow. After several days of characters chatting over drinks, now we have characters chatting over cookies. Who says Mike doesn’t have dramatic developments in his stories?

this arc is really starting to plod on… shouldn’t the pace will picking up by now?… the setup is dragging on and yet STILL NOTHING as to the invasion plan or the rogue faction… I had high hopes for this arc, but I’m starting to lose all hope now… I don’t know what else to say… I WANTED this arc to work, but to ME, it’s bogging down and I’m afraid that it doesn’t appear that this will have a satisfying payoff in the end…

If that little missy don’t get Tracy “standing at attention” then he is surely made of stone. Whoevers idea it was to have the wall mounted lights shaped like Moon world’s favorite food was a good one.

I am willing to bet that they are not on the moon but are in Anartica.

I never liked Gould’s venture into space, but at least the stories moved some. This stuff is becoming the Seinfeld of comics…A story about nothing. BTW< Flash Gordon and Ming are at war in the Saturday TCM serial. You want action in space, you get action in space.. Mike and company should watch

Tracy, you are married.

The snail motif comes from Terra, and they are severely altered humans from hundreds of thousands of years ago. Not aliens. Which means that these versions of humanity exist in deep space and are surviving very well in extreme climates.

Technically the Loon-Aryans are an extreme species like tardigrades and factoring in that element the Goldilocks Zone is far wider for them. They were never to go to Earth to live. IMO

I don’t know how closely, if at all, editors at the Tribune syndicate monitor this message board, but if they are they must surely be seeing red flags at this point regarding Mike’s writing.

I wonder if she will be a spy or an ally.

The blonde streaks in her hair indicate she’s picking up bad habits from Earth TV.

Marina has a pretty healthy libido for a young Lunarian, and seems to have a huge crush on the older (and married!) human detective!

Or, is she running a scam, doing undercover dirty work for the cabal and Ro-Zan? I rather doubt it is this latter. But what function will she have in the ongoing story, if her crush is real?
