why is she so shocked at THAT moment?… she looks as if she;s seen something drastic or something to make her suddenly distraught… did Tracy inform her of Paul’s passing?… and where’s Tracy NOW?…
Good morning™, those about to be fed a truckload of bull&^% !*
Sue’s look of shock feels tinged with fear, if she had got the dope from Tracy on how monkey boy really operates. I initially thought deja vu was going through her mind, from the last time. Her speaking with Tracy has done it. She should have blown him in when she had the chance. She will need to be real cool now lest Artie take matters into his own choking strangling hands, on the handiest person available. LOL !.
Sue Reel has nothing to worry about in that loft. We all know Art Dekko doesn’t do his own killing. I just hope for her sake his important announcement isn’t that he’s treating her to a vacation.
“Get a grip! I have something important to tell you”. I am closing up the shop. I have to move to the outskirts of town. Sue, don’t peskier me with questions. Your services are no longer required. I’ll mail your severance check.
1-ART: PSSST! UP HERE! On the fire escape! Move away from the dumpster and go back inside.
2-SUE: Thanks for establishing our location! I didn’t know where I was. Hey. Why are you locking the door? And that feverish look. And you’re dressed like Hugh Hefner. OH ART! IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING! BE STILL MY HEART!
3-ART: What? Oh. YUCK! NOT EVEN IF YOU SHAVED! Wait. Hmmmm I meant I’m in love with some chick named 99. Now IF SHE WASN’T IN THE PICTURE (hint hint), maybe you and I would have a chance at something new and fantastic. But, unfortunately she is… sigh
SUE: Where’s this bich live? ART: Here – I’ll draw you a map! heh heh. My geniusness just don’t stop!
Putting aside the nitpickers for the time being,I think t he strip has been on a roll this year.
Victor Buono got the trivia experts perking. And you’ve come up with t wo eminently hissable villains in a row—Roz-An and ArtDekko. No neutral corners for these two.
A story is a success if you sit up thinking of bad things you’d like to see happen to the villains.Dekko’s return has bene so “popular”you probably won’t be knocking him off.Though if you did you could sell high-priced tickets to that happy event.
My big complaint is that the strip can be at the mercy of desk jockeys who walk around with “BANNED IN BOSTON” stamped on their foreheads.
SPOOKY OT: I could use Tracy today. Went out this afternoon to get the mail and there’s a line of blood spots leading from outside the front door and down along the driveway. I did hear a cat fight a couple of nights ago, but nothing last night. Terri’s also upset they wont just wash away. I should probably try to work this into anew story. project.
Sue Reel is about to leave the shop/studio for the night when suddenly the con Art appears at the head of the stairs to the loft and beckons (panel 1; that this is set indoors is shown by the filing cabinets (sic) next to the doorway and by the EXIT sign above it). In panel 2, Sue has acquiesced and ascended to the informally-clad cad’s loft room, which has a door that he closes and perhaps locks (depending on just what secretly intended nefarious deeds may be brewing in his pea-brain). Panel 3 is the cliffhanger, or setting the bait for Sue to be reeled in….

Good morning™, everyone!
It seems that Art has some kind of loft in the back of his store. What is he doing up there? and what’s he about to tell Sue?
I love the drawing in the last panel especially.

This particular story is very disjointed.
Hopefully when we get all the puzzle pieces it’ll be a masterpiece.
Hopefully!

This storyline is starting to drag on…guess I’ll just have to sit back and wait for Mike to start the next one…this has lost my interest.

Art was so traumatized by Agent 99 that when he got home went and changed into his pajamas.

Now if Sue’s mustache were BLONDE it might not look so much like she was wearing glasses in the first panel.

Nothing so deadly.Art is “playing sick” so Sue will have to “run an important errand” for him.Watch out for the quicksand,Sue.
Would be nice if we knew what went on between Sue and Tracy while Art was getting blackmailed.Whose side is she on now?
