Klinique is a weird name, even for a cousin of B.O. Plenty. Do you think it’s a reference to makeup, maybe? What little of her that we see appears not to need much makeup, kind of the opposite of “Little Attitude” (who is supposedly horrifyingly ugly).

Just when you thought this strp couldn’t get any worse…

CLINIC PLENTY?!?… FFS…

I wonder if Klinique Plenty is any relation in the Plenty family tree to Perfume Plenty, who was B.O.‘s niece, I believe, & who was, among other things, a product spokesperson & “Queen of TV commercials” . Perfume was featured a lot during Chester Gould’s last year on the strip, including the final Tracy story Gould wrote & drew back in 1977. The chicken seems to like her.

Hmm..are Klinique and Game Boy going to cross paths?

Klinique Plenty?! Well, she is (as far as we can see and can judge from Tracy’s reaction to her) “mighty fine” looking. The Plenty Family is ever expanding, for better (as, I hope, in this case) or for worse (Attitude?).

But what is her game? Is the name canting, as so often in Dick Tracy? If so, what kind of “Klinique” or clinic ties in with her? She seems well-spoken and educated, and Chick Tracy II, for what it’s worth, seems to like her. The broader question, however, is how this character will advance the Gameboy story (assuming that that is the story). Maybe B.O.’s “big news” will provide some answers.

At least today’s episode is interesting….
