FALL IS IN THE AIR :-D …And I know this because that tree dropping leaves tells us so. Tracy and Lee’s casual look suggests that they may be at the student union, striking a pose for an upcoming institute weekly publication cover photo.

I think the two stabbings are related. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be hearing about them together. We still don’t know what the “toy” in the safe was. That could be an important clue connecting the two stabbings together.

At least Lee got two days of strip time (so far).

What’s with Tracy always putting his hands in his pockets? Doesn’t he know Lee’s already taken??

Staying away a few days hasn’t made the strip any more exciting!

I can’t seem to find any statistics on the use of knives in crimes. Gun violence seems to be what gets tracked. But I know stabbings are not rare. Two deaths by stabbing, eleven months apart ( apparently two deaths by stabbing, eleven months apart – don’t think the M.E. has made the official ruling yet on this one). Even though the bodies were found a couple days apart I’m a bit surprised she’s even asking the question, or Tracy should be considering the possibility at this point. But coincidence has been a crutch on which many plots have leaned too heavily.

avenger09. I like the strip. I like the story. I like the art. I like the characters.

The guest writer may have painted himself into a narrative corner if indeed there was an 11-month time lag between Pro. Manutius’s murder & Ms. Claxton’s murder, raising questions like why the killer waited nearly a year between killings, or what he or she was up to in the meantime. Hopefully, things will get clearer soon.

Coincidence? I don’t think so!

A week into this “Mystery” and we have no suspects? Geez, how long is this gonna last?

Dick seems to be having trouble finding his car keys.

Lee Ebony and Dick Tracy are both uncertain whether the two stabbing killings, Caxton and Manutius, are related. More clues needed!

Will there be a trip to the Medical Examiner for a comparison of stab wounds such as were they made in an upward or downward direction? Maybe the perpetrator was agitated with the tea lady and angry with the doctor.
