If that bank is like a certain grocery store around here she wont need the gun but just to say she has one and then bank personnel will stand aside while she walks out with the payroll money. A factory that missed the memo on closing and moving to China or Mexico. Looks like hotel furniture and nicely rendered.
What’s the biggest anachronism in today’s strip? The landline phone CropTop is speaking on or the factory that apparently still pays its workers in cash or by check, not direct deposit?
Great artwork indeed. This story has taken so many leaps of logic. Suggestion to Mike Curtis. Read all of the Parker novels by Richard Stark aka Donald Westlake. Develop the baddies into true, professional baddies and let the greatest detective of the 20th century have at it.
Blackjack, mr roboto and now this joke of a character….ALL bank robbers…is there no OTHER sort of crime in tracyville? Libris stole…I dunno what she stole since that story was a mess from beginning to end, and good ol’ sweatbox did…huh, I guess the sweatbox Express was the only memorable part of that one, the faux vampire was….after someone else’s inheritance (?) And Madsen was involved in…telemarketing schemes? More eggs than hen’s in recent stories obviously
“The Wit And Wisdom Of Emo Phillips’! Two pages of nigh-cosmic brilliance, including crayon illos!! PRICELESS words to live by! The deluxe volume with a forward by Carrot Top!
I’m going to guess that the money that she’ll have tomorrow is for the book that says she’s buying and she’s talking to the seller.
In other news, she knows how to handle a pistol.
I had a young fellow hand me a loaded rifle the other day, wanting me to check out his new acquisition. First thing I notice is that it had a magazine in it. I immediately dropped the magazine, noticed that it had rounds in it, and pulled back the bolt to eject the round in the chamber. Who’s teaching these kids how to handle firearms? You never hand a loaded weapon to someone, friend of foe. I didn’t want to give the thing back to him until he showed me that he knew how to handle it.

Good morning™, everybody!
Wasn’t the Colonial National the last bank that got hit in this strip? That must be one expensive book she wants.

Isn’t a bookie’s gambling operation referred to as a book?

Are these fellows in shape to pull off a bank job? One of them can use his share of the loot to take out a membership in Planet Fitness.

2-…OK. We’ll rob the pizza delivery guy of his money AND HIS PIZZA!
3-OBVI INFORMANT: How come I don’t get a gun? BOWLING LEAGUE: Is this how you hold a gun?
CRAPPIE: Oh my f’n… I guess you work with tools you got and not the tools you wish you had… YOU F’N TOOLS! NO PIZZA FOR YOU!
